Most importantly, Thank You For Playing UFO Adventure! Now, on with the hints. And don’t forget, we also have email support if the hint you need isn’t listed below.
Hint 1: The Rock is blocking me from going any farther.
So, you have survived the ballon crash with the UFO, only to find yourself now blocked by a big rock right in the wrong place. You can’t move it by hand, so what can brave adventurer do?Well, you need to find some kind of leverage to move the rock. What can you use? Well, a really big stick might fit the bill. Have you seen any growing around, maybe?
Hint 2: Where can I find something to help me with the tree?
Well, if you are observant, you may have found a nice, sharp piece of metal. But to cut down that tree you need to be able to swing that metal much like you would an axe. So what can you use to build a makeshift axe? A nice stick might be handy. But you won’t find it just lying about. Instead, you will find it tumbling about. Of course, you are going to have to catch it first…
Hint 3: How do I get past the metal gate?
So, you have managed to get past the big ugly rock, but now a metal gate is in your way. Luckily there are some switches close by that just might open the gate, but there are no solutions to be found. How can a person unlock the code and raise the gate?Well, let’s examine the puzzle. If you look at the puzzle layout, there are three vertical lighted switches and three horizontal indicators. The way the puzzle works is this – you touch a switch, it changes color. When a switch is the correct color, an indicator will light up. Through trial and error, you should be able to get all three in the right state and the gate opened. But here is a tip that will make it possible – work with one switch at a time, until your total correct count goes up. Only then move on to the next switch.
Hint 4: How do I cross the bridge?
So, now you have a raised bridge that you need to cross. How does one do that? Well, you are going to need some help. If you look at the tree on the other side of the bridge, you should spot a Red Panda. Now, this is a special Red Panda, but if you find something that the Red Panda likes, it might prove to be instrumental in getting power restored to the bridge control. As to what the Red Panda likes, and how you get it to him, I leave up to you to explore.
Hint 5: How do I solve the vine puzzle?
The vine puzzle works rather simply – once you pull the correct vine, it glows, the gate raises slightly, and you go on to the next one. But unfortunately you have to pull all five in the correct order, or it resets and the gate lowers. This might be a good place to take note of the sequence of vines pulled. Here is a hint – start with the last one first.
Hint 6: How do I get into the UFO?
So, you have discovered a perfectly fine functioning UFO, and you would like to get inside. Well, that is possibe, but first you are going to need something you may have noticed earlier in the game, but it was out of reach. Luckily, an alien hard at work has left a tool out that may prove to be handy in just such a case. You only need to find a way to knock it down within reach…
Hint 7: How do I get the Alien cabinet open?
The cabinet inside the UFO is controlled by an elaborate series of control valves. If you examine the valves, you will find different colors on the valve handles. The key to solving this puzzle is to turn the valves so that the colors align. Simple enough, certainly…
Hint 8: How do I operate the large viewscreen?
The large view screen is operated by pressing the up and down buttons on the side of the screen. But, of course, to make it operate you first have to solve the puzzle that activates the screen. The puzzle uses six switches, three per side, and six indicator lights. When you touch a switch, it will change colors. The indicator lights only give a count of the total number of correct light switches turned to a given color. When you get all six of them the correct shade, then the puzzle is solved. But unlike the earlier gate puzzle, some of these switches can cause a different switch to change color as well. So to solve it, it might be best to work from a starting point, and press the switch until a new count correct is shown, then on to the next affected switch. Of course, the starting point may be key here, so I’ll leave that for your experimentation.
Hint 9: How do I get the key card past the alien rubbing his head?
There is a keycard in the video machine thing that might prove to be handy, but an alien is standing too close to it to walk up and take it. So what is our brave adventurer to do?Once again it might be good to use something that can reach out where you can’t reach yourself. What, you say that it shows to be out of a charge? Well, I guess you will have to find some way to make it function again.
Hint 10: How do I get the flask out of the well?
What do you mean you threw the flask in the well with no immediate way of getting it out? Well, now you must be stuck. Or are you?At this point you may think you have explored everywhere on the game, but that is not the case. Find a barrier that has stopped you from going on in the past, and see if something you can find (or may have in inventory) can help you with removing that obstacle.
